Has anyone else been watching The Human Planet on the BBC?
I have watched every one so far and the feats that humans can do to survive, and the places we can live is outstanding, then when teamed up with some of the best camera teams in the world makes interesting viewing.
The parts I like most are the end of each episode where they go “behind the lens” and show parts of the filming…..one day I would love to have a trip like one of them to add to my CV and life story’s.
To view the series, head over to the BBC iPlayer

I’m hoping someone can help. I live in the US & don’t have the BBC one channel, the channel in which this show airs, what can I do to watch this series? I already tried watching it on the Human Planet website & a message states that the video is unavailable in my area. I’m a History teacher & would LOVE to tape these episodes & take them with me to class.
Thank you
Thank you for your message,
Unfortunately Im not sure how you would manage to see the program outside the UK, good luck getting the information you need as your students would gain a lot form seeing the series.

Thank you so much KS, I just ordered the box set! Although it’s on back order & won’t arrive until early May, I’m ever so grateful for your assistance. I can’t wait to watch it in it’s entirety & at least I’ll have a month to fit it into my lesson plans
@Leon, hope you will enjoy the series, pls watch Mountains;Life in the thin air and let us know what you think about ‘The Sky Burial’
All the best.
Thanks again ks, my students have been entralled w/ the series. They have gained so much insight into what some peopple have to do to survive in the world
The sky burial was intense, too hard for me to deal w/, but I guess their environment dictates their way of life. Extremely harsh, but sometimes simply put…that’s life
Many thanks again
